Our current 3 month session is starting (April, May, June) is underway, so please register and pay for classes.

Our fee remains $300 for 3 months with unlimited access to classes. We now accept Venmo payments to Traditionalkarateclub.com

Our next belt exam opportunity will be in April 2024. Keep up your training – the requirements for each belt exam are listed on this website. Please let an instructor know if you plan to test in the future. There’s a $40 fee for taking the promotion exam, which includes the cost of a new belt, if needed.

Membership allows unlimited classes as follows:

Monday 5:30-6:30 pm  

Tuesday 5:30-6:30 pm  

Wednesday 5:30-6:30 pm  

Saturday 10:00-11:00 am (all ranks)  

Sunday 9:00-10:30 am  (advanced kata, for brown and black belt levels)  

We will have advanced kata training each Sunday from 9:00-10:30 am.  Open to brown and black belt ranks only.   We train with our fellow karateka from the JKA Chicago dojo, and it’s always an invigorating work out.

The program starts with heian kata and then we pick more advanced Shotokan kata to learn and refine.   Come, learn and enjoy!
