Our next belt exam opportunity will be on July 1st 2026 (Wednesday) from 6:00-7:00 pm. Keep up your training – the requirements for each belt exam are listed on this website. Please let an instructor know if you plan to test in the future. There’s a $40 fee for taking the promotion exam, which includes the cost of a new belt, if needed. Shodan exam is $100, which includes the cost of a customized belt.

Monday 6:00-7:00 pm
Tuesday 5:30-6:30 pm
Wednesday 6:00-7:00 pm
Saturday 10:00-11:00 am (all ranks)
Sunday 9:00-10:30 am (advanced kata, for brown and black belt levels)
Friday 1:00-2:00 pm Breakthrough Karate for Parkinson’s Disease
We will have advanced kata training each Sunday from 9:00-10:30 am. Open to brown and black belt ranks only. We train with our fellow karateka from the JKA Chicago dojo, and it’s always an invigorating work out.
